Camp Director Opening

Canterbury Hills Camp is seeking a Camp Director. Canterbury Hills is an Anglican Church camp which provides a child-centred, creative and spiritual camp for both day and overnight campers. It is located in the heart of the Carolinian forest in Ancaster, Ontario.

This full time position reports to the Board of Directors and is overseen by a Board sub-committee.

Canterbury Hills, an Anglican Church camp located in the heart of the Carolinian forest in Ancaster, Ontario, provides a child-centred, creative and spiritual camp for both day and overnight campers. This full time position reports to the Board of Directors and is overseen by a Board sub-committee.

The board of directors is seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills who can cast a vision that inspires and engages others. An ability to communicate comprehensibly (both orally and written), and a willingness to initiate change are critical for the successful candidate. In addition, the Board is looking for a director who has discernment in hiring, and a deep commitment to a thorough training and feedback program. The ability to build good relationships with camper parents, staff and the board is also key.
