General Information
Located in the heart of the stunning Dundas Valley, Canterbury Hills Camp has been a cherished part of the Hamilton community for over 60 years. Nestled within the lush Carolinian forest of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, our camp offers a unique opportunity for children and youth to explore, connect with nature, and create lifelong memories.
At Canterbury Hills, we offer a range of summer camp programs for youth ages 6-16, including Day Camp, Bridge Camp, Overnight Camp, Adventure Camp and Leader-in-Training (LIT) programs. Our camp programs are designed to foster personal growth, teamwork, and love for the outdoors. Our dedicated and passionate camp staff are committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and fun environment where every camper can thrive, make new friends, and develop confidence.
Canterbury Hills programs emphasize experiential learning and environmental stewardship. Campers are encouraged to plan their own schedules, creating a personalized adventure that allows them to explore their interests and try new activities. Whether hiking through the forest, tackling a new challenge, or bonding with peers, every day at Canterbury Hills is filled with excitement and discovery.
Our strong partnership with the Hamilton Conservation Authority allows us to fully immerse campers in the beauty and wonder of the Carolinian forest, offering an authentic nature experience that fosters a deeper connection to the environment.
We’re proud of the community and longstanding traditions we’ve built at Canterbury Hills, and we’re excited to continue to provide a setting for young people to grow, learn, and connect with nature.
